No clear cut starters this week so I figured I'd ask the experts. These are the options (I need two)...

Ronnie Brown vs Jets
Glenn Coffee vs Falcons
Knowshon Moreno vs Patroits
Jerome Harrison vs Buffalo

Thanks in advance guys.

Start Brown every week.

The other 3 are a tossup, in my opinion. I have both Coffee and Harrison. If Jamaal Lewis plays this week, I'm sitting Harrison and playing Coffee. Good luck!

I agree with Brown for sure as a start each and every week. I would use Moreno in the second slot since Buckhalter is out and he will likely get the most touches of the bunch. Coffee had a lot of touches last week vs. St. Louis, but did not have much success and I don't see him doing a lot better against a tougher Patriots defense.

I'm in the camp that Ronnie Brown isn's a must-start. The Jets have shut down every RB this season, why would Brown have success, especially with Henne starting? Brown is your fourth best RB this week. If Jamal Lewis isn't playing, Harrison and Coffey are your two starters. Buffalo and Atlanta have given up huge points to RB's this year, and Cleveland and SF will run the ball first. Moreno is your wild-card, but I think NE beats Denver.

I strongly disagree with FairWarning's assessment. I could go into a very long breakdown on each matchup, but I will keep it short and sweet.

Brown-Jets defense is not the Ravens defense. They have looked excellent against the pass, but have been susceptible to the run vs. both Tennessee and New Orleans. Miami will look to control the clock and Brown will get at least 20 touches with 100 yards and a score.

Moreno-If you have watched Denver play this year, they are now a balanced offense with an excellent defense. The Broncos O-Line is one of the best in the game and Moreno has a great opportunity with Buckhalter out this week. I'm a Denver fan, but I also really believe that this team is for real and will shock the NFL again this week by upsetting New England. Moreno will have 25 touches with 120 total yards and a score.

Harrison-This is such a tough matchup to call. Buffalo's defense is not as bad as you think. They have looked worse because their offense has struggled and they have been on the field for long periods of time against New Orleans and Miami. I just don't see the Browns going on the road and beating Buffalo, especially after trading their biggest threat in Braylon Edwards. I know that he had no catches last week, but he was doubled all day by Cincy which opened things up for the running game and Harrison. Still, Harrison did not score on any of his 29 carries. In a PPR league, he is very intriguing, but I see the Browns playing from behind in this game. I would say 15 touches for 75 yards and no scores.

Coffee-If I owned an NFL RB and he averaged 3 yards on 24 carries against St. Louis, I would put him on my bench and never play him again. Oh wait, that was Coffee's line last week. He is not Frank Gore and the Niners offense is not very good. The Falcons are coming off their bye week and will be well-prepared for this matchup. I see Atlanta loading the box against San Fran and forcing Shaun Hill to beat them. I also believe that Matt Ryan and company will have a big day and will force the Niners to play from behind. I say Coffee has 20 touches for 60 yards and no scores.

Coffee is a must start imo. Who cares what his average was. He had over 100 total yards and Singletary likes to run the ball. I have him in two leagues and he is starting in both.
Brown will have a tough week with Ryan concentrating on him with henne at qb.
Moreno/ harrison wait and see with weather and injuries.

This is what the Jets have allowed to RB's this year:

Houston - Slaton 9/17 yards
NE - Taylor 8/46
Tenn - C Johnson 22/97
NO - P Thomas 19/86/1TD

No one has 100 years and only allowed 1 TD on the season. If you had poor matchups, I would say start him. You have good matchups.

Heck, I wish I had R Brown this week. Have to start Cadilliac Williams instead.
